A wide range of scholarships are available to successful applicants who apply in Stages 1, 2 and 3 on the MBA programme. This page provides an overview of the key awards available. You will be given more information on the School scholarship portfolio, including how to apply, when you receive your offer. We strongly recommended that you research external funding opportunities as well.

London Business School Annual Fund Scholarships

Funded by: London Business School
Open to: All successful MBA applicants who have clear academic and professional merit and can demonstrate the ability to contribute to all aspects of the MBA programme
Awards: Award amount up to £20,000. In 2010, around 30 Annual Fund awards were made
Application Format: Candidates who apply in Stages 1, 2 or 3 and receive an offer for the class of MBA2013 will be automatically considered for these awards.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch Scholarship
Funded by: Bank of America Corporation and Merrill Lynch & Co.
Open to : All successful MBA applicants interested in the financial services industry
Awards: 1 x £20,000
Application Format: Candidates applying in Stages 1, 2 or 3 who receive an offer for the class of MBA2013 will be given details on how to apply for this award

Goldman Sachs New Markets Scholarship
Funded : Golman Sachs
Open to: Candidates from all nationalities, however, preference will be given to nationals of Africa, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Russia and Turkey and to those applicants with an interest in the financial services industry.
Award amount: 1 x £20,000
Application format: Candidates from stages 1,2 and 3 are considered automatically for these scholarships. You do not need to submit a separate application.
MSc16 Term Scholarship
Funded by: Alumni from the class of MSc16
Open to: All successful MBA applicants
Award: 1 x 50 per cent of first year tuition fees
Application Format: Candidates applying in Stages 1, 2 or 3 who receive an offer for the class of MBA2013 will be considered automatically for this award
MBA25 Scholarship Fund
Funded by: Alumni from the class of MBA25
Open to: All successful MBA applicants
Award: 1 x full first year tuition fees
Application Format: Candidates applying in Stages 1, 2 or 3 who receive an offer for the class of MBA2013 will be considered automatically for this award
Style Research World Citizen Scholarship
Funded by: Style Research - an independent and international provider of global equity market style research and analysis services
Open to: All successful MBA applicants who are socially responsible and have a strong desire to use their knowledge, education and business skills to make the world a better place
Awards: 1 x £20,000, plus mentoring opportunities

Celia Atkin Avent Scholarship
Open to: All successful female MBA applicants
Award: up to 50 per cent of tuition fees

Citi Foundation Scholarship
Funded by: The Citi Foundation
Open to: All successful female MBA applicants who have an interest in the financial services industry

Open to: All successful MBA applicants who have been employed in a full time military role in their career so far

Award: Up to 50 per cent of first year tuition fees
Open to: All successful African MBA applicants, regardless of domicile.

Blavatnik Scholarship
Open to: Russian and CIS nationals, Israeli nationals
Award: 1 x £20,000

Award: 1 x £20,000
Open to: All successful Indian MBA applicants

The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation - Yoshitoki Chino Memorial Scholarship
Funded by: Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation
Open to: All successful Japanese and UK MBA applicants
Recipients will be expected to serve as a goodwill ambassador for London Business School and the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation
Award: 2 x £10,000. Additional benefits include life-long association with the Foundation, introductions to Foundation contacts and Trustees as well as invitations to prestigious events

The Mo Ibrahim Foundation Scholarship for Sub-Saharan Africa
Funded by: The Mo Ibrahim Foundation

Award: 1 x up to £50,000

The Sumantra Ghoshal Memorial Scholarship
Funded by: The Sumantra Ghoshal Memorial Fund. In memory of the life and achievements of Professor Sumantra Ghoshal, a valued member of the London Business School community who died unexpectedly in March 2004
Open to: All successful Indian MBA applicants
Recipients of these awards are expected to contribute to the School's marketing efforts in the region
Award: 2 x £12,400

The Huw Jenkins MSc21 Scholarship Fund
Open to: UK nationals
The key objective of this scholarship is to provide funds to attract and retain exceptionally gifted students from the UK to pursue the full-time MBA Programme at London Business School. This award will be made at the discretion of the Scholarships Committee to an outstanding candidate who, in the opinion of the committee, is a deserving scholar. The recipient of the award is expected to contribute to the School's marketing efforts in the region

Financial Need Bursaries

London Business School Financial Need Bursaries
Funded by: London Business School
Open to: All successful MBA applicants earning less than £15,000 per annum and with proven financial need who would not otherwise be able to study at London Business School
Award: Up to five awards of up to £15,000 each
Application Format: Candidates applying in Stages 1, 2 or 3 who receive an offer for the class of MBA2013 will be given details on how to apply for these awards

MBA99 Bursary
Funded by: A generous donation from the class of MBA99 following their 10 year reunion celebration in 2009
Open to: All successful MBA applicants earning less than £15,000 and with  proven financial need who would not otherwise be able to study at London Business School
Award: 1 x £15,000
Application Format: Candidates applying in Stages 1, 2 or 3 who receive an offer for the class of MBA2013 will be given details on how to apply for this award
MBA2004 Bursary
Funded by: A generous donation from the class of MBA2004 following their five year reunion celebration in 2009
Open to: All successful MBA applicants earning less than £15,000 per annum and with proven financial need who would not otherwise be able to study at London Business School
Award: 1 x £15,000
